Sarah Clegg
I have lived in the Valley my entire life, spending a few years in Laramie for college and a wonderful summer in Alaska. I enjoy everything out doors, riding my dirt bike throughout the
summer, snow machining through the snowy seasons, hunting, camping and fishing. I have been riding snow machines since I was a small child, starting out on a 1988 Polaris 480!! I enjoy any day spent in our wonderful mountains, a relaxing day by a stream reading a book, a nice trail ride (summer or winter) or a back country adventure.

Jeff Pope
Jeff Pope has been snowmobiling for about 20 years and has done several guides over the Snowy mountain range of Wyoming and Colorado. He is a natural on his “sled” gliding through the snow with ease. Jeff can guide both the experienced “sled neck” as well as a timid beginner. He looks forward to being your guide.

Mark Janes
Mark Janes moved to Wyoming 6 years ago to head up the Saratoga Resort and Spa’s Snowmobile/Guide service. He is in charge of all snowmobile rentals as well as the mechanic; making sure all the machines are ready to go for the busy snowmobile season. Mark has been a great asset to the Resort and we love having him on our team.

The four of us came up for an end-of-the-year blow out/AWESOME New Years and SARATOGA RESORT did not disappoint! The snowmobiling was the best we have had in the last five years. Fresh powder, no crowds & moose sightings galore (even found a shed laying right on the trail) has made this a trip to remember. We had New Year’s dinner and party right at the resort with a dip in the hot springs @ midnight! Can’t think of a better way to start 2013. We have all decided this will be a annual tradition!

Thanks for everything—Jill, Mike, Kris & Tricia

We came out for three days of riding last year with a group from IL. One of the days was the Poker Run. What a great time! The snow was amazing while we were there. Every day was filled with tons of fresh tracks and deep pow pow. Several trails had 18 inches plus of fresh snow and the weather kept it crisp and fluffy. We had a crew of seven riders with us then and this year we are bringing out another 7. After a day of hard riding I can’t wait to sample the brew of the season in the bar, soak in the springs to soothe the muscles, and get a another taste of the homemade chili.
See you in February!
-Jim K.

I just had to comment on our recent snowmobiling experience at the Saratoga Resort The attention to detail was the most rewarding. From the moment we received our email and letter informing us of the equipment the resort provides and the personal clothing we need to consider sledding not to mention what type of sandwiches each of us preferred to have at the lunch break. When we arrived all of the equipment and clothing we requested was waiting in our room and the correct size. The guides made sure we were safe and had the knowledge to operate the snowmobiles. Not to mention we had the good fortune to be briefed by Doc Janssen on the sleds capabilities and if needed spare repair parts available on the machine. My son and his friend have commented more than once what a rush. For teenage boys to say this put a smile on my face. You can bet we will return to the resort this summer for the Atv rides on the same trails.

From my experience I will always remember the Views, Hot Springs and the Microbrew afterwards at the resort.

-With great memories, Tom H. – Jefferson City, MO
